The baton is into the new hands with the warmth intact, we present techSRIJAN 2k9. techSRIJAN, the three day extravaganza will be an event that any techno freak can ignore at his/her peril. Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College for the last 11 years has been patronizing and acknowledging excellence in technical skills and innovation by holding its annual technical cum management festival, techSRIJAN, organized by IEEE Student Branch of the Institute in association with SAE India Collegiate Club.
The event had its genesis laid in 1999 and since has come up by leaps and bounds to carve a niche for itself at national scene. techSRIJAN, the three day extravaganza, encompasses a wide range of technical and managerial events, from paper presentation to robotics, from quizzes to case studies. The event has been exceptionally successful in its endeavor to foster innovation and quality. It also includes leisure events like Rock Shows and LAN games to give the event a tad of fun. Besides there are workshops and guest lecturers from corporate bigwigs.
techSRIJAN 2k9 has several new events up its sleeve. Upbeat with successful introduction of autonomous robotics, this edition will put the minds up for some serious drilling with ab-initio, the Rube-Goldberg style event. The tussle will also hot up as the participants will show their constructive zeal in the Junkyard. The event will also give away prizes worth Rs. 2 Lakh. Besides, the event will also take up the cause of Environment, as our growing obligations towards our nature are expanding like never before. To top it all, Alumni Convention’09 is also being held in the College premises on 31st October and 1st November, 2009. This event will witness Alumni of the college from all corners of the globe, visiting the college campus and gracing the occasion as well.
