IIT Guwahati is organizing technical fest on 5th to 7th september.

It is a technical plus management fest organized in two segment.Previous year it was at great success.

Every student wants to be a part of such type of fest which are organized at higher level like this, so it  great opportunity for students to take part in one of the great fest of INDIA.

1. Robotics

      a. Badge of honour

           problem ststement:-Make a Manual Robot capable of moving blocks and negotiating sloping surfaces and a simple maze

to view arena visit the site.

 b. Deep purple

Problem Statement:

Design and build a machine that can move in water in all 3 dimensions in a tank and can rupture balloons tied to the bottom of the arena using threads of different lengths

 c. RGB

Problem Statement

The arena is an 8×8 chessboard. The squares on this “chessboard” are colored, and each color will be assigned a cost. The robot has to go from the starting to the ending square, while incurring the minimum possible total loss. The starting and ending squares will be at diagonally opposite corners of the arena.
During a run, we will provide each team with a computer and a webcam mounted vertically above the arena. The robot would have to run with the computer’s guidance. Once the program is started on the computer, no human intervention will be allowed till a timeout is called (The rules for timeout are elaborated in Scoring Rules)
d. Flight 101

 

 

Problem Statement:

Design and build a remote controlled airplane that will remain airborne for maximum possible time and is capable of performing manoeuvres in air.

 

e. Yacht o tronics

 

 

 

Problem Statement:

To make a Yacht which can propel and manoveur in the water filled arena with the help of Wind Energy.
